Meet
Jen has a passion for helping others through movement. Pilates found its way into her life years ago. As a busy single mother at the time and a Marketing Professional in the corporate world, Jen struggled with balancing home, work and her love for fitness. She suffered from back pain and poor posture from never properly rehabilitating her core after pregnancy. Taking her first Mat Pilates class through her company’s wellness center, this class fired a passion in her that she knew she wanted to share with others.
Mat Pilates unfolded many things for Jen that changed her body from the inside out. From posture, strengthened core, eased back and neck pain and toning with this low impact workout. Mat Pilates also helped Jen throughout her second, third and fourth pregnancies, allowing her to recover faster and correctly giving Jen confidence in herself, both mentally and physically.
Jen left the corporate world in 2015 and has solely focused on helping others through Mat Pilates teaching private and small group formats. With 4 children, Jen understands unpredictable schedules and the need for balance on and off the mat, which is why she also offers virtual sessions for those who want the convenience and affordability of Mat Pilates from their own home/office. She also loves to share her experiences and exercises that have continued to help her and others through Corporate and Medical Wellness groups.
*Jen is Power Pilates certified and classically trained with 10+ years of experience. Jen specializes in all levels, including injury rehabilitation, restorative recovery, prenatal and postnatal. Her other training includes deep stretching, pelvic floor rehabilitation and Pilates suspension.
